MCA from NIT's: NIMCET Exam 2023|Eligibility|Application Form|Cut-off

NIMCET is a National Level Common Entrance Test that is conducted by any of the NITs for direct admission into their MCA program. National Institutes of Technology (NITs) are the Institutions of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India. The MCA (Master of Computer Applications) program is offered by NITs at Agartala, Prayagraj (formerly known as Allahabad), Bhopal, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal.

NIMCET 2023 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Candidates can apply for the NIMCET 2023 examination only if they have completed a Bachelor’s degree with or without in Science/Computer Applications/Information Technology(B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.), BCA, BIT, or B.E./B.Tech) from a recognized university for at least three years of full-time study.

Candidates from open universities who have finished their Bachelor’s degree from any of the above categories for three years and if they are taking the qualifying examination may also apply for the test. NIMCET is mandatory for learners seeking admission to NIT MCA.

NIMCET SYLLABUS 2023

The Syllabus of NIMCET 2023 is divided into four parts and there is no sectional time restriction in this examination.

Mathematics
Analytical Ability & Logical Reasoning
General English
Computer Awareness

There are topics and sub-topics to study under each section in accordance with the NIMCET curriculum.

NIMCET 2023 CUT OFF

The conducting authorities shall release the cut-off soon after the announcement of NIMCET 2023 results.

The list of NITs participating in NIMCET 2023 is below. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi shall also be using NIMCET – 2023 ranks this year for the admission of the MCA program for the academic year 2023-24.

For the NIMCET preparation, there are many books available in the market as there is no single book that can cover all the topics, hence the students need to go through multiple books.

Rs. 2,500/ for Open/Open-EWS/OBC Category

Rs. 1,250/ for SC/ST/OBC Category

NIMCET IMPORTANT DATES

The online mode of registration for the NIMCET 2023 examination is started now.

The last date for the submission of application forms through online mode is the 10th of April 2023 up to 5 PM.

The edit Window will be available from 13/04/2023 to 17/04/2023.

The date of the examination is the 11th of January 2023 (09:00 AM to 11 AM).
